Sonic Drive-In is an American drive-in-diner fast-food restaurant chain based in Oklahoma City Oklahoma complete with carhops who sometimes wear rollerskates. As of 2009 there were 3500 restaurants in forty-four U.S. states. The Sonic menu includes items such as hand-made onion rings as well as such drive-in staples as hamburgers foot long cheese coneys (hot dogs with chili and shredded cheese) and corn dogs. In addition to traditional soft drinks different flavors such as vanilla chocolate cherry strawberry cranberry apple etc. are available and can be added to the soft drink.
