Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting

Friday December 2 from 5-6pm the community of Ferndale will gather on the Centennial Riverwalk Park to light the tree and officially kick off the holiday season. The community is invited to come down and enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving by fire truck to help pass out candy canes. One lucky boy or girl will get to help Mayor Gary Jensen light the tree. After the event everyone is encouraged to head down to Pioneer Park for the Olde Fashioned Christmas.

 The annual Holiday Tree lighting would not be possible without the continued support from our sponsor the Silver Reef Casino and Spa, and partnership with the Downtown Association.  Donations for the event have been graciously given by local businesses; Cost Cutter, Costco, Whatcom Fire District #7, and Kelly’s O’Deli.
